Welcome to Day 3 of my 30 Minutes for 30 Days series! If you are just joining me, you can find out how this all got started HERE. You can read all the 30 for 30 posts HERE.
On Tuesday mornings we have the Grade 4-6 Science Lab in our studio. Today the work the students were doing was such that I had time to sort through the cabinets. I actually got to do TWO 30-for-30 sessions!
For The Minimalist Game, I am getting rid of:
- Two refrigerator pitchers.
- Five plastic baskets.
- Three bottles of dishwashing liquid that I don't like.
- A container of paper clips.
- Six rolls of tape.
- Eight erasers
- Six plastic rulers
- Three plastic tableclothes
- A hand-crank food chopper.
- A Sea Monkey habitat
- 25 assorted plastic storage containers.
|HOARDING. That's the only explanation here.|
RUNNING TOTAL: 66*
...of which today there were 61 discrete items, plus approximately 600 paper clips - I know that because I started with that many for last Spring's science lab. But even counting the bin of paper clips as a single unit, to date I have removed approximately 310 items from my home.
*In the excitement of telling you about cookies yesterday I forgot to post a running total. It was 55, of which there were 22 discrete items.
