Homeschool Classes

Our studio is located in Inglewood/East Nashville, TN.  Courses are hands-on, differentiated instruction, inquiry-based programs that comply in both teaching and content standards with the National Science Education Standards and the UCLA National Center for History in the Schools standards, and include field research, specimen and data collection, and documentation of evidence.  Click the titles for more information about each course.

Uppity History:  Women's Suffrage

Begins September 1, 2015, and meets weekly on Tuesdays, 9:45 am - 11:15 am

The Uppity History course gives students a chance to discover how history is really made, through the words and images of the people who made it.

Nature in the Neighborhood

Begins September 3, 2015, and meets weekly on Thursdays, 9:45 am - 11:15 am

Nature in the Neighborhood allows students to experience a scientific nature study in the heart of the city!  

Brave Readers Book Club

Thursdays, 12:15 pm - 1:15 pm

The Brave Readers Book Club meets once a month for a brown bag lunch and guided book discussion.  The club is open to students of all ages - emerging readers, independent readers, and prospective readers are all welcome.
